Billionaire George Soros invested $10 million in a progressive organization dedicated to seeking women’s votes in states that could define the elections, The Washington Free Bacon reported.
Supermajority, a progressive women’s organization, launched a campaign targeting women in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona and according to Federal Election Commission records, of the $2.5 million raised, $2 million comes from the Political Action Committee for Democracy, Super PAC Democracy, which is fully funded by Soros.
The Hungarian billionaire’s record of funding through the Super PAC is extensive and always revolves around causes that include abortion, “gender equality,” and social justice. Among his best-known beneficiaries are House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), the controversial abortion clinic Planned Parenthood, and the Sixteen Thirty Fund, an organization accused of being a dark money network to fund progressive causes, and according to Influence Watch is one of the left groups “to resist Trump.”
Supermajority plans to hold a virtual event at the end of the month called Supercharged: Women in all, featuring Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), actress Eva Longoria who also hosted the Democratic National Convention. According to the website, the event “will bring together thousands of women to laugh, sing, dance, and celebrate women’s political power.”
Supermajority was founded in 2019 to train and mobilize a “community of all ages, races, and backgrounds, to fight for gender equality together.” The organization is currently led by Alicia Garza, co-founder of the Marxist Black Lives Matters movement and Cecile Richards, the former head of the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic.
Soros is also an active donor to the Democracy Alliance, a network of left-wing millionaire donors that he himself created. The Alliance has contributed nearly $2 billion since its inception and has pledged an additional $275 million to help the Democrats win the Nov. 3 election.
According to research by the Daily Caller News Foundation, Soros’s Super PAC has also been actively funding the political campaigns of progressive district attorneys who refuse to prosecute criminals or who directly decriminalize certain crimes. Unfortunately, Americans have begun to suffer the effects of these policies in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, and other liberal cities where after criminals are caught, they are released the next day, increasingly creating an environment for fearless crime.
