Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) stated that Google is the “most dangerous company on the face of the planet.”
During an interview with Breitbart News, he described the problems he experienced with Alphabet Inc. and with the social networks Twitter and Facebook regarding the interference they created during the elections.
Cruz described Google as the “single greatest threat” facing the country to have “free and fair elections.”
“Google is the most dangerous because it’s the biggest by far. It is the most powerful by far. It controls the vast majority of searches people do,” explained Cruz, who has been one of the few senators to openly criticize the great technology.
As an example, he referred to a 2019 hearing of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, which he chairs. On that occasion, he invited psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein to discuss the manipulative abilities of Big Tech.
Cruz said that Epstein discovered that “Google, through manipulated search outcomes, shifted over 2.6 million votes in 2016 to the Democrats.”
“And Dr. Epstein is not a Republican. He is a liberal Democrat who voted for Hillary Clinton but is outraged to see that kind of abuse of power. Google is clearly the most dangerous,” he said.
Turning to the next technological giant, Cruz said, “Twitter is the most brazen.”
Cruz’s statements come just over a week after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) agreed to override President Donald Trump’s veto of the defense bill if it does not protect the freedom of expression that Twitter and Facebook censor.
President Trump said he would impose the veto if Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which shields Big Tech from censoring users’ freedom of expression, is not included in the bill.
“Section 230, which is a gift of accountability protection from the U.S. to the ‘Big Tech’ (the only companies in America that have it—corporate welfare!), is a serious threat to our National Security & Electoral Integrity. Our country can never be safe & secure if we allow it to stand …,” Trump had written on his Twitter account in early December.

“Therefore, if the very dangerous & unfair Section 230 is not completely terminated as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), I will be forced to unequivocally VETO the Bill when sent to the very beautiful Resolute desk. Take back America NOW. Thank you!,” he added.
McConnell and Schumer’s agreement could involve treason and complicity with the challenged companies, which impose their own progressive narrative and block communication from those who differ from it.
Big Tech, acted in favor of the Democrats and candidate Joe Biden during their presidential campaign, as well as during the fraudulent elections, causing concern among Republican lawmakers.
At least nine different members and advisers of the future White House Biden team worked previously for Facebook, Google, or Twitter.
In addition, several members of the team had already worked in the Obama administration before joining one of the technology giants and then re-entered politics as part of Biden’s team.
