Several Republican lawmakers have expressed concern that at least nine members of Joe Biden’s staff and personal advisers have previously held positions on Facebook, Google, or Twitter, according to Fox News. This further demonstrates the connections between Big Tech and Democrats.
It is already known that the Big Tech played into the hands of the Democrats and candidate Joe Biden during his presidential campaign, as well as during the fraudulent election in which the Big Tech declared him the president-elect of the United States.
In addition, several members of the team had worked in the Obama administration before joining one of the technology giants and then re-entered politics as part of Biden’s team.
Among the highlights is former Facebook director and associate general counsel for strategic response, Rachel Liebner, serving on Biden’s transition’s review team for the intelligence community. Liebner had served as assistant general counsel for the CIA during the Obama administration before joining Facebook.
Zaid Zaid, is a former member of the public policy team at Facebook, and now serves on review teams for both the State Department and the Department of International Development.
Deon Scott, another of Joe Biden’s new advisers, joined his team at the Department of Homeland Security after working at Google. Scott also worked at DHS in the Obama administration before joining Google.
Some Republicans have already expressed dissatisfaction with these additions. Such is the case with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who in a dialogue with Fox News said, “Big Tech billionaires in Silicon Valley consistently work to advance the interests of the Democratic Party while silencing those with whom they disagree. And they do so while enjoying a special immunity from liability under Section 230—which effectively operates as massive corporate welfare.”
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), told Fox News, “If Joe Biden is sworn in as President, Big Tech will run the government. He’s bought and paid for by Big Tech monopolists that want to censor our speech, spy on us, and partner with China.”
Last week in an article in The BL, it was reported that Big Tech’s top executives donated thousands and thousands of dollars to Biden’s campaign in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election.
Amid a scandal over the limitation imposed by big social networks on the circulation of reports detailing the illegal overseas businesses of Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden when his father was vice president, they report an investigation published by Fox News that several top Twitter and Facebook executives have donated up to the maximum allowed by law to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
While it is not illegal to donate money, as expected, the records do not identify a single Facebook or Twitter executive who has donated to President Donald Trump’s campaign. This proves the political bias in Silicon Valley and the prejudices with which they operate and make decisions that directly or indirectly affect everyone.
As The BL reported at the time, throughout the election campaign, the advantages Biden’s campaign had over President Trump’s were overwhelming.
President Donald Trump himself lambasted the efforts of big business to impose censorship by stating that Section 230, a provision of the Communications Decency Act, should be removed “for reasons of national security.”
