A group of protesters on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31, picketed William Barr’s house in Virginia, demanding the attorney general bring Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to justice.
The protesters, who carried “Trump 2020” flags, raised signs “Biden lies matter,” or “Equal justice is coming,” according to a photo tweeted by Daily Beast editor-at-large Molly Jong-Fast.
The photo also showed some others wore “Crooked Hillary” shirts and one held a sign with the Bible quote, “They that forsake the law praise the wicked.”
Glenn Kessler, editor and chief writer for The Washington Post’s fact checker, also tweeted a photo of the group with a caption, “It’s come to this: A neighbor reports that AG William Barr’s house in McLean is being picketed by Trump supporters who believe he’s not doing enough to lock up Joe Biden.”

Reporter Mike Balsamo from The Associated Press added that Barr eventually went outside to greet the protesters and explained the Justice Department’s role in investigations.
“A DOJ official says Barr went outside to greet the crowd, chatted with the folks out there, explained DOJ’s role generally in investigations and then shook hands and posed for photos with them,” Balsamo tweeted.

The group launched the demonstration as President Trump has repeatedly referred to Biden as a “criminal” since the New York Post’s recent bombshell revelations over emails and other documents in the Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s laptop.
An article by the Post alleged that Joe Biden and his son met a top executive at Burisma a year before the then-vice president pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor investigating Ukrainian energy company Burisma, while Hunter was sitting on the management board. Another revealed a series of emails that indicate more corruption from the Bidens, who were allegedly receiving millions of dollars from Chinese Communist Party officials.
The Justice Department has not announced any investigations related to the Hunter Biden case, though President Trump has publicly said Barr should open an investigation.
“We’ve got to get the attorney general to act,” the president said on Oct. 20. “He’s got to act, and he’s got to act fast. He’s got to appoint somebody, this is major corruption, and this has to be known about before the election.”
