After the first results of the elections, the conservative sectors celebrated the increase in the number of pro-life candidates elected to the House. In total, 11 incumbent pro-life women have won re-election and 13 new pro-life women were elected to the House.
A significant increase in pro-life women in the House is considered a real defeat for the pro-abortion agenda championed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and her supporters.
The Susan B. Anthony List, a leading pro-life organization that invested $52 million to support pro-life candidates, celebrated the victories on its Twitter account with details of each the newly elected representative.

“The surge of victorious pro-life women candidates in the U.S. House is a stunning blow to Nancy Pelosi and her pro-abortion agenda,” its president, Marjorie Dannenfelser, said according Breitbart. “So far, we have more than doubled the number of pro-life women in the House, with more races to be called. Seven pro-life women candidates flipped pro-abortion Democrat-held seats.”
Pro-choice Democrats still control the House, but their majority is shrinking. And since the counts are not yet complete, it is hoped that pro-life leaders can still increase.
In addition, six pro-life women were also confirmed in the next Senate. It could be as many as seven if Georgia Sen. Kelly Loeffler wins the runoff election in January.
“We are also very encouraged by the hard-fought re-election of Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and the re-election of Sen. Cindy-Hyde Smith (R-MS), while welcoming Senator-elect Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) to the ranks of pro-life women in the Senate,” Dannenfelser added.
Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest pro-abortion industry organization, tweeted Wednesday that it was looking forward to Democratic candidate Joe Biden winning the 270 electoral votes needed to win the U.S. presidency.
“As results come in and we count every vote, we’re seeing just how many Americans voted for change. We have the momentum and Joe Biden’s path to 270 electoral votes is becoming more clear.” Planned Parenthood wrote in its count.

Students for Life of America and its partner group SFLAction, are associations that seek to reach out to young people by inviting them to join and belong to a movement aimed at fulfilling their goal of eliminating abortion, promoting values of respect for life, and defending the voiceless.
Students for Life America also campaigned to elect pro-life legislators. Kristan Hawkins, the organization’s president, said her group of millennials, the “Pro-Life Generation,” “knocked on doors across the country so that pro-life legislators could get to work defending women and their children, born and unborn.”
The Trump administration, since the beginning of its term, as promised during its campaign for president in 2016, has openly collaborated with pro-life groups and promoted pro-life and anti-abortion policies, as reported in detail by The BL.
