President Donald Trump said he won’t be watching former special counsel Robert Mueller’s upcoming congressional testimony on Wednesday. The case that has caused global attention as the president calls it a “ridiculous Witch Hunt” will have the much anticipated Robert Mueller testifying on July 24. Mueller is expected to testify for at least five hours at the White House on Capitol Hill.

On July 22nd the president tweeted on the matter

Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday that he is “not going to be watching Mueller” and said Democrats running the hearing were “wasting their time.”

“No I’m not going to be watching. Probably, maybe I’ll see a little bit of it. I’m not going to be watching Mueller because you can’t take all those bites out of the apple. We had no collusion, no obstruction. We had no nothing. We had a total no collusion finding,” the president said.

The president said the Democrats have gone off the deep end, and could instead be focused on more important issues like health care, infrastructure, or lowering drug prices.

Saying if they worked with the Trump administration on these important topics they could “get drug prices down in half.” The president said though the Democrats only seem to “care about a phony investigation where the report was written, it said no collusion.”

President Trump made it clear just how much the Trump administration has achieved in the last two and a half years, making it some of the greatest economic achievements in the history of America.

“Nobody’s done in two and a half years what we’ve done, the biggest tax cuts in history, the biggest regulation cuts in history. So many things for health care, we got rid of the individual mandate, which was the worst part of ‘Obamacare,'” said President Trump.

He went on to say how “a lot of great things are happening but the Democrats they don’t want to talk about that.”

The Democrats are not focused on the economy but are instead just doing hearing, after hearing, after hearing. President Trump calling it complete “nonsense,”  and pointed out how they tried an impeachment vote and they got slaughtered last week.

He said, “They got absolutely slaughtered. It was the most ridiculous. … I didn’t even know they were going to do it. And I’ll tell you just in finishing, I have a lot of respect for the Democrats because most, most of them voted against impeachment last week. And I have a lot of respect for those Democrats that did that, because they’re doing the right thing for the country. No collusion, no obstruction.”
