President Trump released an official statement from the White House on Wednesday, Dec. 2, in a video on social media. He began, “This may be the most important speech I’ve ever made.”
A two-minute clip of the full video was uploaded to the president’s Twitter account.
Statement by Donald J. Trump, The President of the United States

The president stated that the American voting system is under siege, and he reaffirmed that he had won the election.
“We used to have what was called ‘Election Day’.
“Now we have ‘Election days, weeks and months,’ and lots of bad things happened during this ridiculous period of time, especially when you have to prove almost nothing to exercise our greatest privilege, the right to vote,” he said.
The president is going to defend the laws and the constitution of the U.S., and the honesty of the vote, to ensure that “every legal ballot is counted, and no illegal ballot is counted.” ensuring Americans can have faith in the election system.
“This election is about great voter fraud. Fraud that has never been seen like this before,” President Trump stated. “It’s about poll watchers who were not allowed to watch. So illegal.
“It’s about ballots that poured in, nobody but a few knew where they came from, but they were counted, and they weren’t for me.
“It’s about big leads on election night, tremendous leads, leads where I was being congratulated for a decisive, easy victory, and all of a sudden by morning or a couple of days later, the leads rapidly evaporated.
“It’s about numbers of ballots that were sent, that nobody knows where they came from.
“It’s about machinery that was defective, machinery that was stopped during certain parts of the evening, miraculously to open with more votes.
“It was about many other things, but above all, it was about fraud.”
There have been numerous instances of voter fraud and irregularities across the country. The recent hearings held by state legislators in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Michigan have highlighted much corruption.
The president explained he was warned, together with Joe Biden, not to declare a “premature victory” after Nov. 3, as the vote-counting would take a while to process, due to the massive number of mail-in ballots.
“In fact, they were acting like they already knew what the outcome was going to be. They had it covered, and perhaps they did,” said the President.
“Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint a winner, even while many key states were still being counted. The constitutional process must be allowed to continue.
We are going to defend the honesty of the vote by ensuring that every legal ballot is counted and that no illegal ballot is counted,” he said.
The president said that Democrats used the pandemic as an excuse to implement the massive mail-in ballot scheme, making changes to election procedures leading up to the election, which is an apparent violation of the Constitution, with judges in many states ruling the changes unconstitutional.
“This is not just about honoring the votes of 74 million Americans who voted for me. It’s about ensuring that Americans can have faith in this election and all future elections,” said the president.
In Minnesota and Pennsylvania, both Secretaries of State have been ordered to separate all ballots that arrived after Nov. 3 until a decision is made.
“Many smart people have congratulated me on all we’ve done,” President Trump said in his final remarks. “The biggest tax cuts in history, regulation cuts, we rebuilt our military, we took care of our vets like never before, Space Force, and so much more.
“But they went on to say, ‘As big and important as these events were, the single greatest achievement in your Presidency will be exactly what you’re doing right now: Voter Integrity for our nation.’ It’s more important than any of the things that we discussed.”
