President Donald Trump on Sunday said that he will help Mary Ann Mendoza after Twitter reportedly suspended her account for criticizing California Sen. Kamala Harris.
“I will help Angel Mom (and great woman) Mary Ann Mendoza with Twitter. I know Mary Ann from the beginning, and she should never be silenced. She is a winner who has lost so much, her child. Twitter, if you’re watching, please do what you have to do, NOW!” Trump tweeted.

Mary Ann Mendoza is an angel mom who lost her son to an illegal alien in 2014.
Twitter suspended the account of the mother after she made a series of tweets that were critical of Harris’ stance on illegal immigration and sanctuary cities, according to Breitbart News
“I’m disgusted and disappointed that Twitter is trying to silence me,” Mendoza told Breitbart News. “I had my world ripped out from under me the day my son was killed by a repeat illegal alien criminal. I am the ‘other’ side of this crisis and the end result of open borders and the careless release of illegal aliens at our borders because of time restraints.”
Twitter decided to lock her account until she agreed to delete several tweets critical of illegal immigration, according to Mendoza. Twitter allegedly told her that the tweets violated their hate speech rules.
Mendoza has indicated that she does not intend to remove the tweets and refuses to be silenced or censored.
One of Mendoza’s tweets that Twitter wanted her to delete stated, “Kamala Harris what law can I break and have you defend me so staunchly? Provide me sanctuary from our laws? Political cleanup from YOUR INACTION FOR DECADES is what it’s called.”
“You have #bloodonyourhands for every death of an American killed by an ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINAL you are protecting,” Mendoza continued.
Mendoza met in March with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, saying her son’s death at the hands of an illegal immigrant underscores the increasing need for border security and immigration reform.
“A lot of these angel families, their loved ones have been killed by an illegal alien who’s already committed a crime in our country, [but] was shown leniency or served no jail for the crime they committed, that you or I would be in jail for. So, that kind of catapulted me into this,” Mendoza said.
Mendoza and fellow activists are working on a campaign they call Blood on Your Hands.
She said the most important thing people can do is become informed on the issue of illegal immigration.
“Start educating yourself,” Mendoza said. “Get on websites that give you the truth. Don’t read a headline and believe that it’s the truth. You have to know, illegal alien criminals are committing more crimes at a larger rate than American citizens are.”
