President Donald Trump promised to return the factories that went into production in China and disassociate the United States economically from China because it is not trustworthy.
“We will make America into the manufacturing superpower of the world and we’ll end reliance on China once and for all, whether it’s decoupling or putting in massive tariffs like I’ve been doing already,” President Trump said at the White House on Labor Day, Sept. 7, according to the New York Post.
He added, “We’re going to end our reliance on China [the CCP] because we can’t rely on China.”
“We will manufacture our critical medical supplies in the United States, we will create Made in America tax credits, and bring our jobs back from China to the United States and we will impose tariffs on companies that desert America to create jobs in China and other countries,” Trump also said.
He also insisted on holding the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) responsible for the damage caused by the CCP Virus.
Trump has already imposed numerous sanctions on companies and officials linked to the CCP for the repression caused in Hong Kong, and for the human rights violations committed in forced labor camps where members of ethnic minorities are held, and those who try to exercise religious freedom.
On the same occasion, Trump recalled that because of the policies promoted by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, thousands of jobs were lost in the United States, and yet Biden insists on speaking well of the CCP.
“The cost of Biden’s economic treachery was 60,000 shuttered American factories and I heard this morning that the real number is probably 70,000… And he’s talking about how wonderful it is with China,” Trump said.
Indeed, the affinity shown by the Democratic campaign for the CCP is striking, especially when the security services warned that the CCP would prefer Biden to be elected in the next presidential election.
Biden’s ties to the CCP have been the subject of much comment and concern.
For Peter Schweizer, an American writer and political consultant, the strategic trade agreements established with the CCP when Biden served as vice president could have threatened national security.
Schweizer stated, “The Bidens made a lot of money, courtesy of the Chinese government [the CCP]. We’re not talking about Chinese business, but the Chinese government. This happened while Joe Biden was the key person in the Obama administration’s China policy,” in an interview, according to Fox News on Sept. 4
