President Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday, Aug. 7, to address the issue surrounding a New York Times article. What had originally been titled “Trump Urges Unity VS Racism” as a front-page headline was quickly changed to “Assailing Hate but not Guns.” The change came after the headline received heavy criticism from “Radical Left Democrats” for not being critical enough of President Trump.

President Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday, he said – “Trump Urges Unity Vs. Racism,” was the correct description in the first headline by the Failing New York Times, but it was quickly changed to, “Assailing Hate But Not Guns,” after the Radical Left Democrats went absolutely CRAZY! Fake News – That’s what we’re up against…..”This is an astounding development in journalism. I’ve never seen it happen before, I’ve just never seen anything like this! Is that journalism today? In the aftermath of the mass shootings that took place in Dayton and El Paso, President Trump delivered an address to the public condemning racism and white supremacy. The New York Times had planned a front-page story with the title “Trump Urges Unity Vs Racism. However that all changed after a flurry of online criticism from social media, including tweets from high-profile democratic candidates, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), and 2020 hopefuls Beta O’Rourke and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.).||87fce0b51__

Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter reposting the original article attacking President Trump. She tweeted—Let this front page serve as a reminder of how white supremacy is aided by—and often relies upon—the cowardice of mainstream institutions.

President Trump later on Wednesday took to Twitter citing a report from One America News Network. He said, “Meanwhile, the Dayton, Ohio, shooter had a history of supporting political figures like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and ANTIFA.”@OANN I hope other news outlets will report this as opposed to Fake News. Thank you!
