One of America’s most talked about presidents accused his successor of being weak on immigration and justice.

Donald Trump used his Ohio rally to rebuke President Joe Biden’s open border policies and helping foreign countries to clear-out their prison populations.

Trump accused the Biden administration of making illegal immigration as easy as possible at his first post-presidency rally on June 26.

“You have millions of people coming into this country … we have no idea who they are,” he said at the Lorain County Fairgrounds according to Breitbart. “His policy is to make illegal immigration as easy as possible, instituting catch and release, ripping apart our asylum agreements, ordering a stop order [to border wall construction].”

The former president also criticized the Democrat for reversing most of the Trump administration’s measures for border control and interior immigration enforcement.

“Joe Biden is doing the exact opposite as we did,” he said.

Since Biden was sworn into office more than five months ago, the United States recorded a jump in illegal border crossings. Data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection shows at least 172,000 illegal aliens were arrested at the southern border in May. This figure is on par with 20-year highs reported back in March and April. The tally highlights a growing border crisis on the Biden administration’s watch.

Trump blamed “radical left” Democrats for causing a “massive” crime wave across the nation. He explained this was partly due to illegal immigration and encouraging foreign countries to release their prison populations.

“Other countries are emptying their prisons into the United States … ‘Let us send them to the United States and they will get in,’ because nobody even checks who is coming into our country–it is insanity,” he said according to News Binding. “It is destroying our country … they are murderers and drug dealers.”

The former president suspects Vice President Kamala Harris only visited the southern border because she was afraid he would beat her to it.

“Kamala Harris, your vice president, only went to the border yesterday for the one simple reason–that I announced that I was going,” he said according to The Hill. “If I did not do that, I do not know if she was ever going to go.”

Trump also called on Republican lawmakers to shut down what he called a lawless agenda from the Biden administration.

“We have to defund his reckless immigration policies and restore our southern border to what it was,” he said according to Breitbart.
