After House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) promised support for 32,000 airline workers, she refused to keep her promise and demanded money for other uses as well.

Now, unless an independent bill grants her a billion-dollar figure, Pelosi said she will not approve aid that prevents workers from being fired by using them as hostages, according to Breitbart on Oct. 8.

Pelosi said on Oct. 2 that $25 billion in relief was “imminent,” so she called on the airlines to suspend the layoffs.

“We’re hopeful that the widely expressed, bipartisan support for saving airline jobs will lead to a legislative breakthrough soon,” United Airlines spokesman Frank Benenati said at the time, according to Reuters.

President Donald Trump said on Oct. 6 that he was willing to approve the independent agreement that could include aid to airline workers and another series of direct checks worth $1,200.

“Well, I shut down talks two days ago because they weren’t working out. Now they are starting to work out,” said President Trump

Although negotiations with the Trump administration will continue, it is unlikely that an agreement will be reached before Nov. 3, the day of the presidential election, the Wall Street Journal said.

Passenger airlines had already received $50 billion in financial assistance, half of it for payroll costs and the other half as government loans

The country’s economic recovery is reflected in the decrease in requests for aid from Americans, which last month were only 840,000, while in March, at the height of the CCP virus pandemic, they reached 7 million.

Pelosi insists on demonstrating an anti-Trump administration ethos, which includes her attempts to remove the president from office.

She is now expected to turn to the implementation of the 25th Amendment, running the country is given to Vice President Mike Pence, or any other body authorized by Congress.

Pelosi said on Oct. 8, “Tomorrow, by the way, tomorrow, come here tomorrow. We’re going to talk about the 25th Amendment,” giving rise to some expectation about it, according to Breitbart.

Apparently, Pelosi would now seek to challenge Trump’s health status, despite medical reports of his good health, and frequent videos in which you can see him act decisively in the fulfillment of his office.
