President Joe Biden generated outrage by referring to the Uighur genocide perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as a “cultural norm” rather than condemning it even though it means the painful and slow extinction of this ethnic group.

“So the idea that I’m not going to speak out against what he’s doing in Hong Kong, what he’s doing with the Uighurs in western mountains of China, and Taiwan, trying to end the One China Policy by making it forceful,” Biden said at a meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Feb. 16.

He added, “Culturally there are different norms in each country and their leaders are expected to follow them.”

For One America News reporter Jack Posobiec, this part of Biden’s speech is propaganda for the CCP.

“Joe Biden just said the Uyghur genocide is just a Chinese cultural norm and reminded Americans that China has been victimized by the West in the past These are direct CCP propaganda lines,” Posobiec tweeted.

In another of his tweets Posobiec added, “Uyghur women are getting gang-raped in CCP gulags and Joe Biden calls it a ‘cultural norm’.”

“Wow, Biden won’t ‘speak out’ against Uighurs genocide and oppression of Hong Kong,” @Wizard_Predicts, who added the video clip in which Biden talks about the controversial Chinese “cultural norm.”

Then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo determined that the CCP’s persecution of the Uighur minority is part of a systemic, organized genocide to reduce the Muslim population.

“After careful examination of the available facts, I have determined that since at least March 2017, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), under the direction and control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), has committed crimes against humanity against the predominantly Muslim Uighurs and other members of ethnic and religious minority groups in Xinjiang,” Pompeo communicated on Jan. 19.

In reality, the human rights violations perpetrated by the CCP are much more numerous, and include persecutions against other ethnic groups and against freedom of conscience and religion, such as practitioners of the ancient spiritual discipline Falun Dafa or Falun Gong.

The CCP’s repression tightens around the basic freedoms of the most populated country in the world with an iron fist, and threatens to invade Taiwan despite the fact that it is a country with an independent democratic government.

Moreover, after U.S. security agencies declared the CCP as the greatest threat to their country and the world, Biden’s open approval of the communist regime raises concerns.
