Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the ranking Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee, proposed to shut the intelligence agencies if they do not reveal what happened in the false collusion with Russia initiated by the Democrats in 2016.
Nunes is referring to closing down the Justice Department, the FBI, and other agencies involved in the failed impeachment case against President Donald Trump, in which Inspector General Michael Horowitz found at least 17 serious errors, according to Breitbart on Oct. 5.
For Nunes, the delays presented by those involved in the case are frustrating and prevent the disclosure of possible crimes and those responsible for them, which according to the evidence are personalities of the highest profile in American life.
The most recent of these interferences found by Nunes, led by FBI director until 2017, James Comey, who said he had forgotten everything about the procedure he was in charge of.
“James Comey has an intelligence level higher than Einstein. He seems to know everything. He takes immaculate notes. He even takes those classified notes home and shares them with a lawyer. Somehow, those notes end up in The New York Times” Nunes said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”
Comey’s attitude is similar to that of other intelligence officials in refusing to confess to the ‘dirty’ facts of the murky case.
“We asked him specifically and all the other dirty cops at DOJ and FBI and the intelligence agencies, in January of early 2017, where did this dirt come from? None of them seem to know the answer,” said Nunes.
The investigation begun in 2016 was aimed at removing President Trump from office, but once verified by special counsel Robert Muller, no evidence was found of the crimes Trump was accused of.
“Will the American people understand what took place under Joe Biden and Barack Obama’s watch and this plan to take down a candidate and then a sitting president, congressman?” asked host Maria Bartimoro to Nunes.
Nunes responded that this was his intention, that the American people know the truth, but that the process to get to it has been very difficult due to the lack of cooperation from the officials involved in the process.
“We had to fight through subpoenas. We had to prove that it was the Clinton campaign and the DNC that had paid for the dirty dossier and this dirty information,” Nunes explained.
For Nunes, all of this is worrisome, as is the fact that Joe Biden is now running for president, who was vice president when the investigation that turned out to be false began.
“We want every damn bit of evidence that every intelligence agency has, or it’s maybe time to shut those agencies down, because, at the end of the day …” Nunes finally said in the interview.
“Our freedoms are more important than anything else we have in this country. And they have been stampeded on by these dirty cops. … And the Democratic Party, and the media, who don’t report on it,” added Nunes to Fox News.
