A New York Democrat, who is responsible for signing bills passed by the state Legislature, allegedly played the victim and tried to divide the nation during a deadly pandemic.

President Donald Trump has accused Andrew Cuomo of hypocritically wanting independence while also demanding federal assistance to help the Empire State respond to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus.

The president revealed the Cuomo had repeatedly requested more medical equipment that should normally be funded by the state.

“Cuomo’s been calling daily, even hourly, begging for everything, most of which should have been the state’s responsibility, such as new hospitals, beds, ventilators, etc.” he said on Twitter.

The Cuomo’s social media feed expressed little gratitude for any assistance provided by the White House in the past week.

“I spoke to the president and he has agreed to our request to treat COVID[-19] patients on the U.S. Naval Ship Comfort,” he said on Twitter. “This means 1,000 additional beds staffed by federal personnel. This will provide much-needed relief to our over stressed hospital systems.”

After receiving the medical equipment, the governor surprised the Oval Office by stating he wanted New York state to remain independent of the federal government during this worldwide crisis. However, the president believes the requests for help and independence are in conflict with each other.

“I got it all done for him, and everyone else, and now he seems to want independence,” the president said. “That will not happen.”

He warned Cuomo and other governors from the Democratic Party that their jobs are at risk of political upheaval from other Democrats.

“Tell the Democrat governors that [the 1962 historical drama] ‘Mutiny On The Bounty’ was one of my all time favorite movies,” the president said on Twitter. “A good old fashioned mutiny every now and then is an exciting and invigorating thing to watch, especially when the mutineers need so much from the captain. Too easy.”

The president also urged U.S. representatives from the Democratic Party to cast party politics aside and stop opposing the next CCP Virus stimulus package in Congress.

“The Democrats do not want to approve more money for our great workers under the incredibly successful ‘Paycheck’ plan,” he said on Twitter. “Replenish [the] account now.”

Cuomo previously raised eyebrows when he celebrated the president’s 2019 decision to relocate his permanent residential address away from New York City to Palm Beach, Florida.

“Good riddance,” the governor said on Twitter. “It is not like Donald Trump paid taxes here anyway. He is all yours, Florida.”
