A coalition of conservative activists on Monday Nov. 23, expressed through a joint communiqué that until “every legal vote” is counted, the presidential election is not yet over.
As noted by The Daily Signal, members of the Conservative Active Project, a group of U.S. political, economic, and social activists have agreed with those who deny a premature election result “until every legal vote has been counted.”
A statement by Edwin Meese III, former U.S. attorney general and founder of the coalition of conservative activists, as well as 100 other conservative leaders, said, “Ours is a government of laws. Included in those laws are the processes by which elections at every level of government are conducted. The purpose of subjecting the election process to a legal regime is to ensure that results are, and are accepted as, just and accurate.”
“This system works and all Americans should trust it. But, it must be allowed to fully work,” the statement added.
The Conservative Active Project group noted that it was not a coup to insist on compliance with election laws, emphasizing that the foundations of the U.S. republic are not eroded by reminding citizens, “The media does not certify elections.”
Since Nov. 7, several media outlets aligned their news agenda to declare Democratic candidate Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election, even though several legal investigations on fairness in different states were pending and the Electoral College had not yet voted.
President Donald Trump’s top lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, in addition to pointing to dishonest press reports as complicit in election fraud, detailed that he “specifically focused on the large cities controlled by the Democrats, which have a long history of corruption.”
While hundreds of affidavits have been received, not all of them are available for public reading. According to the statement by the Conservative Active Project, since investigations are still underway, “our Presidential Election has not concluded.”
Becky Norton Dunlop, former White House counsel to President Ronald Reagan, said, “The absolute integrity of every citizen’s legally cast vote for president is at stake in this presidential election.”
On Tuesday, Nov. 10, President Donald Trump said, regarding the fraudulent computer voting systems that redirected votes to Democratic candidate Joe Biden, that explosive details about the fraud would soon be revealed.
“I don’t care what state you’re in, this computer voting system is wide open to fraud and intervention.”@LouDobbs True, and wait until you see what’s coming!” Trump wrote on his Twitter account.
