A Democrat momentarily confused his second-in-command’s job title with his own as he incorrectly announced that his subordinate controls the White House.

President Joe Biden suffered a significant memory lapse while delivering a presidential update on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus on March 18. He appeared to forget he was the incumbent in the Oval Office and even suggested Kamala Harris was his successor.

“When President Harris and I took a virtual tour of a vaccination center in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses on that tour—injecting people—giving vaccinations, said that each shot was like administering a dose of hope—’a dose of hope’ that is how she phrased it,” he said in a statement.

The strange remarks came as the Biden administration celebrated delivering 100 million CCP Virus vaccines across the nation.

“Behind these 100 million shots are millions of lives changed when people receive that dose of hope: grandparents can hug their grandchildren again,” Biden said. “Frontline workers who can show up at their jobs without the same fear they used to have. Teachers—with the confidence to head back into the classroom.”

The Democrat commended the national CCP Virus immunization program for including vulnerable people belonging to other races and the countryside.

“We are also supplying vaccines to community health centers to reach those who have been the hardest hit—the hardest hit—and suffered the most, especially black, Latino, Native American, and rural communities,” he said. “This is really important because we believe that speed and efficiency must be matched with fairness and equity.”

Biden has been spreading misinformation about the beginnings of the pandemic. He claimed the previous Trump administration had failed to warn Americans about the looming pandemic and did not act quickly enough to help contain the deadly disease.

“A year ago, we were hit with a virus that was met with silence and spread unchecked,” he said in a video shared on YouTube. “Denials for days, weeks, then months that led to more deaths, more infections, more stress, and more loneliness.”

However, a recent fact check shows that Biden and his fellow party members were the ones who tried to delay former President Donald Trump’s efforts to curb infection rates.

“Biden opposed Trump’s travel ban on China for more than two months, finally admitting in April 2020 that it was the correct policy,” Breitbart senior-editor-at-large Joel Pollak reported.

Biden had also accused his predecessor of needlessly raising the alarm over the CCP Virus by closing the border to Chinese nationals who do not live in the United States.

“This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysterical xenophobia … [and] fear-mongering,” Biden said in a video since deleted from Facebook. “Banning all travel will not stop it.”

The Trump administration had already introduced a variety of disease prevention measures 12 months ago. President Trump was also “never silent” about the CCP Virus and did not deny the disease “posed serious risks to Americans’ public health.”
