It just won’t go away, no matter how much some may wish it to. A phone call between two presidents revealed how these two leaders are focused on draining their respective swamps.
Hunter Biden, the former vice president’s son, has denied any misconduct in business dealings with Ukraine or China in an interview with ABC News’ Amy Robach. Robach asked Biden to answer the accusation from President Trump that he “got 1.5 Billion Dollars from China despite no experience and for no apparent reason.”
“The president has repeatedly said that you received $1.5 billion from China, despite no experience, and for no apparent reason,” said Robach. “Obviously, fact-checkers have said that that is not true. Have you received any money from that business dealing?”
“No,” Hunter asserted. “Not one cent … no one ever paid me $1.5 billion.”
Biden denied any wrongdoing several times during the interview. “I gave a hook to some very unethical people to act in illegal ways to try to do some harm to my father. That’s where I made the mistake,” said Biden. “So I take full responsibility for that. Did I do anything improper? No, not in any way. Not in any way whatsoever.”
Hunter’s denial of receiving any money was discussed in an interview between Glenn Beck, Stu Burguiere, and chief researcher Jason Buttrill on the Blaze TV radio program on Oct. 15. Beck pointed out that Hunter was deceitful to Robach, as Hunter’s company, which he co-owned with Devon Archer and Christopher Heinz, former Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson, would have received the funds.
Robach also failed to mention financial records from Morgan Stanley, which show many entries of funds transferred into Hunter Biden’s account from anonymous LLCs in Ukraine, China, and other countries.
“Journalists looked through Morgan Stanley records, and they found that anonymous LLCs were coming from China and Ukraine, going directly into Hunter Biden’s account. His account, directly into it!” Buttrill said.
“We have the Morgan Stanley file,” Beck added. “We know offshore China was paying [Hunter] and putting it directly into his Morgan Stanley account.”
For the past month, President Trump has consistently mentioned Biden’s corruption, suggesting the father and son need to be investigated. The president allegedly encouraged Ukrainian President Zelenskiy to investigate the Bidens’ corruption in a July 25 phone conversation. This led to House Democrats starting an impeachment inquiry against him last month.
“China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine,” President Trump told reporters.
