Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee slashed at Sen. Mitt Romney after the Utah Republican said he was “sickened” by Trump administration’s level of dishonesty in response to the redacted report on Russian interference by Special Counsel Robert Mueller in the 2016 election.
“Know what makes me sick, Mitt? Not how disingenuous you were to take @realDonaldTrump $$ and then 4 yrs later jealously trash him & then love him again when you begged to be Sec of State, but makes me sick that you got GOP nomination and could have been @POTUS,” Huckabee tweeted Friday.

Romney tweeted earlier in the day that it was good news that there was insufficient evidence to accuse Trump of collusion or judicial obstruction. The former presidential candidate of GOP 2012 then blasted Trump and his campaign for Russian contacts.
“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney tweeted.
The long – awaited report by Mueller was published on Thursday morning and contains almost 900 editorials. It showed no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia was found by investigators. There was no conclusion as to whether the actions of Trump amounted to obstruction.
Romney was the presidential nominee of the Republican Party in 2012 when reelection was won by former President Obama. Huckabee ran against Romney in 2008 for the GOP nomination and then again for the nomination in 2016 unsuccessfully.
Mike Huckabee is the father of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House press secretary.
