Speaking to reporters on the South Lawn on Friday, President Trump responded a reporter over his recent “attacks” at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“What do you want to accomplish with your personal attacks on the Speaker — you’re saying she’s lost it–” the reporter asked President Trump.
“Excuse me!” Trump quickly responded. “This just shows how fake you and the news are! When you say personal attacks, did you hear what she said about me long before her? Did you? She made horrible statements. She knows they’re not true. She said terrible things so I just responded.”
He added, “You think Nancy is the same as she was? She’s not. Maybe we can all say that…”
President Trump: “I want to do what’s good for the country. I think Nancy Pelosi is not helping this country.”

The comments of the President come in response to discrepancies between him and Speaker Pelosi. Although the investigation into Mueller is over and clearly showed no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, the House Democrats have made it clear that they will stop at nothing to impeach the President.
In the past, Pelosi has been against the idea of impeachment, but she is getting more and more pressure from her own party to initiate impeachment proceedings against the president.
During a meeting about infrastructure, the president walked out, telling Pelosi that he wouldn’t negotiate until their fake investigations were done.
“So I just wanted to let you know that I walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer, Speaker Pelosi, I want to do infrastructure,” Trump said to reporters while discussing his meeting with Pelosi and Schumer.
He added: “I want to do it more than you want to do it. I would be really good at that. That’s what I do. But you know what? You can’t do it under these circumstances. So get these phony investigations over with.”
The New York Times reported that, “The president, who has largely avoided direct personal attacks on the speaker, finally gave her a derogatory nickname — calling her ‘Crazy Nancy,’ after Ms. Pelosi had suggested Mr. Trump’s behavior was so erratic it required an ‘intervention’ from his family and staff.”
