An elected official, who is responsible for ensuring the Democratic Party passes legislation in the House, proposed to use more federal funding to provide a minimum wage.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) wants more taxpayer money to be spent on giving all Americans a guaranteed minimum income during the the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus pandemic.

“As we go forward let us see what works, what is operational, and what needs other attention,” she told MSNBC’s “Live” according to Breitbart. “Others have suggested a minimum income for, a guaranteed income for people. Is that worthy of attention now? Perhaps so.”

Pelosi believes pushing the nation even further into debt will temporarily help small enterprises and their employees during the CCP Virus crisis.

“There are many more people than just in small business and hired by small business as important, as that is to the vitality of our economy and other people who are not in the public sector meeting our needs in so many ways, that may need some assistance as well,” she said.

The House speaker called on the Trump administration to give Democrats more time to spend the taxpayer money.

“I think we should extend the time, I really do, I thought that was too short a time,” she said. “What are we getting our money’s worth on? I think we have to look at that too. How is the money being spent? … Nonetheless, we want the money to go where it needs.”

President Donald Trump was unimpressed by Pelosi’s request for more time, stating her Democratic Party colleagues had already caused extensive delays in struggling households from receiving the latest CCP Virus stimulus package.

“Blame the Democrats for any ‘lateness’ in your enhanced unemployment insurance,” he said on Twitter. “I wanted the money to be paid directly, they insisted it be paid by states for distribution. I told them this would happen, especially with many states, which have old computers.”

The president previously revealed the Democrats were successful in adding assistance for migrants and refugees in the first Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act because the Republicans do not have enough numbers in Congress.

“Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats delayed the workers help/stimulus bill by over a week, trying to add real ‘junk’ into the bill,” President Donald Trump said on Twitter. “[Democrats] got some bad things, having nothing to do with those affected by the virus, included,” he said. “Republicans need their votes until we win back the House in 2020.”
