An elected official, who is responsible for ensuring the Democratic Party passes legislation in the House, appeared to overreact when answering media questions about the president.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was seemingly abrupt after CSPAN political editor Steve Scully asked whether President Donald Trump was involved in Democratic Party talks about a major Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus relief package.

Pelosi appeared to show no intention of working with the Oval Office to help businesses and households recover from the pandemic.

“I do not have any idea what the president does,” she told CSPAN in a video shared on Twitter.

When Scully further questioned whether the president was involved in discussions and negotiations, and if House representatives were still in session, Pelosi appeared to lose her temper. She even suggested nobody cares what the president said.

“You know what, do not waste your time or mine on what he says, okay?” she said. “There is a great deal of public attention on what happens next because there is a great deal of heartbreak in our country, the loss of a loved one and sadness over losing a business or prospect of losing a business, so people want to know what we are here to do for them. They do not care about who said what about whom at the White House—that is so totally unimportant with all due respect to your question.”

She also criticized the Trump administration for failing to provide primary health care services with enough medical supplies to effectively respond to the CCP Virus.

“This is a war as the president said but we have to give our warriors the equipment they need to fight the war,” she said. “It is a shame on us that these health care professionals and others, who risk their lives daily, to save other lives are risking theirs and they can bring that home. I think that it is foolhardy for us to not make the investment we need to keep people safe and healthy by using science to open up the government and the vitality of the American people.”

Pelosi recently interrupted a Washington Examiner reporter after being asked why she did not demand an investigation after allegations of sexual abuse emerged against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Kerry Picket wanted to know why the House speaker requested an inquiry when similar allegations were publicized against U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh back in 2018 but did not do the same for Biden.

However, Pelosi cut off Picket before she could finish asking the question and initially Pelosi said she would not make any statements until the matter has been resolved between the involved parties.

“Let me just say—I respect your question and I do not need a lecture or a speech,” she can be heard saying on a video shared on YouTube. “There is also due process, and the fact that Joe Biden is Joe Biden.”

The president previously accused the Democrats of spending too much time on leave despite the international health crisis.

“People started losing their jobs because of crazy Nancy Pelosi, cryin’ Chuck Schumer, and the radical left, do-nothing Democrats, who should immediately come back to Washington and approve legislation to help families in America,” he said on Twitter. “End your endless vacation.”
