House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is willing to let Americans starve if she does not have her own way.

The White House has accused Pelosi of indefinitely postponing the next CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus stimulus package until the Republicans fully meet her demands.

“Here is what the problem is: She [Pelosi] puts forth a number, suggests that she came down, and yet she is willing to turn down $1.3 trillion of help that goes to the American people because she would rather them have nothing than to give way on what her fantasy might be,” White House chief of staff Mark Meadows said in a video shared on YouTube.

The Democrats have repeatedly rejected the Trump administration’s $1.3 trillion offer to struggling businesses and people who were affected by government lockdowns to help contain the deadly disease. The standoff has escalated to the point it is unlikely an agreement can be reached because the Democrats insist on making the decisions and simply refuse to cooperate.

“Listen, we are not going to negotiate here because the speaker has been very clear, when she said $2.2 trillion, she said do not do anything at all [Sen.] Chuck [Schumer,]” Meadows said. “I said, ‘What does the $2.2 trillion represent?’ You know what her response was? ‘I am not going to tell you, let me fill in the blanks’—that is not a proper negotiation nor is it anything that the American people accept.”

The White House believes the existing offer already meets several demands from the Democratic Party, and there is no need to keep delaying the stimulus package from reaching Americans.

“I can tell you what is in the offer the president has made and he is willing to sign, enhanced employment at levels she would agree with, enhanced help for small businesses at levels she would agree with,” he said. “Literally help for day care and hospitals at levels she would agree with, and help for schools at levels she would agree with.”

However, Pelosi continues to instruct Schumer to vote down the stimulus package.

“As you know, anything in the Senate requires both Democrats and Republicans but Pelosi, if she worked with Chuck Schumer, I can tell you all of those things that I just mentioned are available for the American people, and speaker Pelosi is saying no,” Meadows said.
