House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) is so tired of Vice President Kamala Harris postponing her visit to the U.S.-Mexico border that he paid for a missing person advertisement.

The ad appeared on a carton of ultra-pasteurized skim milk that is touted to be a source of “vitamins A and D.” It features the Democrat’s official portrait photo with the caption, “Missing at the border: Vice President Kamala Harris,” according to Fox News.

Scalise hopes the publicity stunt will send a clear message to the Joe Biden administration that it cannot keep ignoring thousands of Mexican nationals who tried to enter the United States illegally.

“President Biden puts Kamala Harris in charge of it, and she refuses to go down [to the southern border],” he said in a video shared on YouTube. “If she is the vice president of the United States, and the president put her in charge of this, Vice President Harris needs to go down to the border and see this for herself.”

The House minority whip believes Harris and the president have postponed their official visits because they might have to admit the Democratic Party’s policy to keep illegal aliens in the United States did not work.

“She does not want to be associated with this disgraceful policy … because maybe she would then encourage President Biden to reverse his policies that have failed,” he said.

Scalise believes there was no reason to reverse the previous Trump administration’s policy to send illegal aliens back to Mexico.

“Everybody will tell you that [Trump’s] policy was working,” he said. “The border patrol agents tell us [exactly this, and] it is not like you get 10 opinions when you ask the same questions from 10 different people.”

He revealed the only winners from President Biden’s executive order on illegal immigration are criminal organizations.

“The drug cartels are running [smuggling rings across] the southern American border, [and] they are making millions of dollars a day off of this enterprise that was created by President Biden’s executive actions,” he said.

This is precisely the opposite of what U.S. Customs and Border Protection employees aim to achieve.

“Our border patrol agents were all telling us the same thing: they signed up for this tough job because they want to stop the drug cartels from bringing drugs into America,” he said.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) previously criticized President Biden for stopping the press from visiting the nation’s southern border.

“The reason that the press are not allowed in is because they do not want the American people to know what is going on,” he told Fox News.

The congressman believes President Biden is terrified about journalists exposing the Democratic Party’s failed policy to keep illegal aliens in the United States.

“If the press were allowed in the Border Patrol agents would tell them exactly what they told us, namely that the reason for this is because of the policy that Joe Biden has now adopted, which is we are not going to keep people in Mexico,” Jordan said. “That single policy is what is driving this huge volume; the huge volume of people coming is what is driving the terrible conditions.”
