Hollywood executives have posted trailers of a new horror movie about leftist elites hunting and killing conservatives for fun, which has provoked strong reactions from conservative groups and the general public.

The Universal Pictures film, “The Hunt,” focuses on a retreat for the wealthy and progressive elites who “hunt” like animals people they call the “deplorables.”

“Deplorables” was the nickname chosen for the conservatives who support President Trump. The name comes from the phrase “basket of deplorables” used by Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in a speech during her 2016 election campaign to describe President Trump’s supporters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the executives decided to pull ads for the film in the wake of mass killings that took place in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, last weekend.

The Hunt stars Betty Gilpin of GLOW and Hilary Swank, who represent opposite sides of the political division.

It features firearms along with other ultra-violent murder weapons as elites take their prey. Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse’s screenplay, reviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, revolves around political issues. The film’s original title was Red State vs. Blue State.

The film studio released television and online promotions for the film, which is slated to premiere in theaters on Sept. 27.

According to The Blaze, you can hear a progressive character asking, “Did anyone see what our ratf***er-in-chief just did?” apparently referring to the president.

And someone else responds: “At least the hunt’s coming up. Nothing better than going out to the manor and slaughtering a dozen deplorables. “

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Hunt’s script introduces the characters of the red state in trucker hats and cowboy shirts, and one boasts of possessing seven guns because it is their constitutional right. The blue state characters, some also experts in firearms, explain that they chose their targets because they expressed anti-choice positions or used the “N-word” on Twitter.

The few conservative actors in Hollywood have commented that, if you are from the Republican Party in Hollywood, you become the enemy and part of a blacklist.
