For Dr. Ronny Jackson, a former White House doctor and former admiral, the media should demand a cognitive test from Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
To Jackson, Biden’s frequent errors and mistakes in his public appearances are indications that something is wrong with Biden’s mental abilities, according to Fox News on Nov. 14.
“I think something is going on there. I honestly do, and I’m not making a diagnosis. He’s not my patient,” said Jackson, who served under Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.
He added, “I’ve never examined him. But I was around him a lot. He’s always made a few gaffes here and there. But this is different.”
Jackson noted that Biden’s advanced age was a prominent factor in holding the nation’s most important office.
“Some people age gracefully, some people don’t … in my opinion … it’s age-related that it’s showing. He’s older, and he’d be the oldest president we’ve ever had,” Jackson said.
Jackson noted the double standard used by the media that in 2018 pressured President Donald Trump to take a medical exam, but now ignores all of Biden’s expressed manifestations of mental deficiency.
At that time Jackson himself gave President Trump the Montreal Cognitive Assessment to determine the first signs of cognitive problems—the results were 30 out of 30, based on which he predicted he would “live to be 200,” said The Western Journal.
Not for the first time is Jackson concerned about Biden’s mental health. As early as October, he noted that his mental decline would not allow him to “serve as our commander in chief and head of state.”
“As a citizen of this country, I see Joe Biden on the campaign trail, and I am convinced that he does not have the mental capacity, the cognitive capacity to serve as our commander in chief and head of state,” Jackson said Oct. 17, according to The Daily Beast.
“I really think he needs some kind of cognitive test before he takes the reins as our commander-in-chief, if that’s in the cards,” Jackson added.
Biden’s mistakes and oversights have been so numerous that compilations have already been made.
Just last week Biden referred to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, changing her role to “House minority leader.”
“Well, I’ve talked to the leader and I’ve talked to the House Minority Leader, and one of the urgent things to do is about the people who need relief right now,” Breitbart quoted.
In fact, the House minority leader is Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).
