An Axios focus group on the vice presidential debate this week found that some Michigan swing voters believe Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) will be president if Joe Biden wins in November.

The voters who voted for Obama in 2012 but chose Trump in 2016, said they are sticking with President Trump because of Harris and her debate performance “reinforced their view.”

“Biden’s not going to make it four years, so Kamala Harris is going to be president and I have zero trust she can be president, so I’m just picking the lesser of two evils at this point,” one participant in the group said. Everyone else in the group agreed, the report said.

“I’m going to have to stick with [Trump] because I don’t know if the Left will make do on the promises they’re saying right now,” said another.

Out of the 13 people in the group, Axios said that 2 of them were going to vote for Biden because of the pandemic and the economy.

Several voters thought that Harris “did too well” and they are now “fearful” she’ll boost Biden’s chances in November while other mocked her gestures during the debate.

“I’m fearful of this woman because she knows how to strike chords with the people of America,” said one person. “She’s basically utilizing everything that has happened this year to attack the Trump campaign and she does it in such a way that she’s making really strong points, but I don’t think they’re true. So she’s coming across very powerful.”

Following President Trump’s CCP Virus (coronavirus) diagnosis, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced this week legislation to seek the removal of a president deemed physically or mentally “incapacitated.”

A presidential removal can only be initiated by the vice president and majority of the president’s Cabinet, and requires a two-thirds vote of both the House and Senate.

“This is not about President Trump,” Pelosi insisted at a press conference. “He will face the judgment of the voters, but he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.”

President Trump agreed that Pelosi’s move isn’t really aimed at him, saying it was instead a plot to install Harris in the White House.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris,” he tweeted. “The Dems want that to happen fast because Sleepy Joe is out of it!!!”

Last month, Harris raised eyebrows after she suggested that she was at the top of the Democratic ticket while touting economic plans under a “Harris administration.”

Biden himself also referred to plans in a “Harris-Biden administration” at a campaign event in Tampa, Florida, just one day after Harris said so.
