Florida Democrat Congresswoman Frederica Wilson on Tuesday said that she wants to prosecute people making fun members of Congress online.
“Those people who are online making fun of members of Congress are a disgrace, and there is no need for anyone to think that is unacceptable [sic],” Wilson said.
“We’re gonna shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted,” she added. “You cannot intimidate members of Congress, frighten members of Congress. It is against the law, and it’s a shame in this United States of America.”

Wilson made the comment following her visit to an immigrant detention facility for unaccompanied children in Homestead, Florida.
When Wilson left the facility she wanted to shut the facility down, saying “We came today to say we will shut this down because this does not have to be this way,” Wilson continued. “These children can be processed and sent to foster care, they can be processed and sent to next of kin, aunts, grandmothers, people in the community who know them and that’s what we are fighting for today.”
Wilson’s comment reminds us of communist countries that free speech is never allowed like Communist China, Cuba, Vietnam or North Korea. People in those countries will face serious sequences if they speak against the government. In China, Communist government killed thousands of students in Tiananmen Square Massacre for democracy protest in 1989. Even today Chinese Communist Party still imprisons and murders millions of innocent Falun Gong practitioners for their belief.
