The crowd chanted “lock him up” after Eric Trump brought up the Bidens to attack ahead of his father’s speech at the campaign rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday night, Oct. 10.

“How do you think Joe Biden and his—how do you think his son is feeling right now, right after embezzling a lot of money, taking a lot of money, the crookedness, right? He’s not looking too good, either,” Eric Trump said before the crowd.

After an attendee was proposing “Lock him up,” referring to the Bidens—a top Democratic presidential runner, Eric promoted “good idea.”

“Maybe ‘Lock her up’ goes to ‘Lock him up.’ I don’t know. I like ‘Lock her up’ a little bit more, but thank you, that’s a good idea. I like that idea,” Eric said.

“Lock her up” was a famous anti-Clinton slogan that President Trump and his supporters used in the 2016 campaign to attack then-Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton.

The crowd then shouted loudly “Lock him up! Lock him up!”

But the president’s son responded: “Hey guys, we don’t need to lock him up—we’re just gonna beat the hell out of all of them. We’re gonna win. You know why? Because America is winning again. Because of my father, America is winning again.”

Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, have faced increased scrutiny over allegations of corruption in their dealings in Ukraine and China.

President Trump’s re-election campaign has just launched a video ad in which four facts are raised to attack Joe Biden and the Democrats.
