Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), is emphatic in stating that Americans are the ones who elect the president, not the press, as the press falsely tries to do with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

While defining the many claims of voter fraud, Cruz set forth a scenario that if the Democrats win a majority in the Senate they would plunge the country into a “socialist abyss,” if coupled with the presidency, he told Fox News on Nov. 8.

“If we have a Chuck Schumer Senate and a Joe Biden presidency, they will pack the U.S. Supreme Court; they will end the filibuster; they will pass massive tax increases; they will pass the Green New Deal, destroying millions of jobs,” Cruz warned.

The uncertainty that surrounds the future of the Senate is due to the fact that the election results for the senators have not yet been determined, and the current situation gives rise to the possibility that Cruz warns about.

The two seats for the senators representing the state of Georgia will be contested in a second round in early January. Campaign investments for this event are expected to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

In the last 20 years, Georgia’s senators were only Republicans.

The Republicans have 48 seats in the Senate defined for the next term, and the Democrats 46. There are also two more in charge of the independents, who are leaning toward the Democrats.

In addition, the Republican Party is currently leading the count in North Carolina and Alaska, two states that are still counting votes.

Aside from the strongly socialist agenda being touted by Democratic Party leaders, statements issued by Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer reinforces Cruz’s prediction.

Schumer told a crowd in New York on the weekend, “Now we take Georgia, and then we change America,” according to the Nov. 9 Summit News.

The truth is that President Donald Trump explained to his fellow citizens that he will be very vigilant in ensuring that all the irregularities discovered so far in the electoral process are investigated, and that the attempts of Biden’s allied press to declare this president are false.

“We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: They don’t want the truth to be exposed,” President Trump said Nov. 7.

He also questioned in part Biden’s attitude, while assuring that he would do everything possible to ensure transparency in the results.

“So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American people have the honest vote count they deserve and that Democracy demands,” he concluded.
