Democrats dramatically increase control over Americans’ gun carrying, which is supported by the Second Amendment, through a bill that would ban 205 types of “assault weapons.”

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), introduced the Assault Weapons Ban of 2021 bill, which includes all guns with suppliers of more than 10 projectiles, according to the March 12 Daily Caller.

The bill also prevents the marketing of “bump-fire stocks and other devices that allow semi-automatic weapons to fire at fully automatic rates.”

Included in the list are weapons that have one or more military characteristics—a pistol grip, a forward grip, a threaded barrel, a folding or telescoping stock, or a barrel shroud.

For right-to-carry advocates these controls are unconstitutional, and will not prevent them from being acquired by criminals.

“Law-abiding Americans use them for every type of lawful purpose, including personal and home defense, hunting, marksmanship competitions, and recreational target practice,” stated the National Rifle Association (NRA).

It added, “Needless to say, however, the modern criminal element will not be playing by the antiquated rules that Feinstein hopes to apply to the rest of us.”

Separately, on March 10, the House passed two other gun control measures introduced by Democrats, including one that expands background checks for buyers over the internet, at gun shows and through certain private transactions.

Backlash against this advancement of Democrat-driven gun regulations sparked many reactions.

“More unconstitutional gun control just passed the House of Representatives. Democrats are fast-tracking the destruction of our Second Amendment because they want total control,” tweeted Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.).

She further emphasized, “Our country is in grave danger if this continues.”

Likewise, Twitter user @domenicadelia22 wrote, “Folks it’s starting! Demon Rat Sen. Feinstein is now introducing a bill to ban assault weapons that have high capacity magazines!”

She added, “This CCP commie did this right after the Dems passed gun control. Here we go!”
