Democrats have delivered on their threat to let Americans starve because they did not get their way with the next round of pandemic stimulus.

The Democratic Party used its numbers in Congress to prevent a CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus relief bill from proceeding to the floor on Sept. 10.

The Senate failed to secure 60 necessary votes to consider the stimulus package because 47 Democrats chose to block Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) legislation.

The deal worth between $500 billion and $700 billion, would have provided supplemental unemployment insurance benefits and extended aid for small enterprises. However, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) have refused to support any package worth less than their proposed $2.2 trillion package because they want to decide how the money is allocated.

It is now unlikely any relief money will reach struggling businesses and Americans affected by government lockdowns to help contain the deadly disease until after the upcoming election on Nov. 3.

“It looks that way,” Senate Appropriations Chair Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) said, according to Bloomberg News. “You never know around here sometimes things look bleak and they revive, and so forth but we thought the scaled-down version was a good bill.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) blasted Pelosi, Schumer, and other Democrats for putting party politics above the common good.

“By blocking this relief legis[lation] Democrat politicians are showing once again they care more about hurting President Donald Trump than they do about helping Americans,” he wrote on Twitter. “They are trying to hurt the GOP but are only hurting the country.”

Grassley demanded an explanation for why Americans should have to suffer from political divisions that have little to do with them.

“Surely Democrats do not want to explain to the unemployed why they should not receive $300 from the federal government on top of their state unemployment?” he asked  on Twitter. “I guess they do since every Senate Democrat just blocked it.”

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) described the Democratic Party’s refusal to cooperate as a contradiction to its core values.

“Democrats claim they are fighting for American families and small businesses but what did they just do?” she asked on Twitter. “They blocked a coronavirus [CCP Virus] relief bill that would help the very same people they claim to fight for. They only care about posturing, what an absolute disgrace.”

The White House suspects the dispute may have to be settled on Election Day by giving the Republican Party a clear majority in both the House and Senate.

“Listen, we are not going to negotiate here because the speaker has been very clear when she said $2.2 trillion, she said do not do anything at all Chuck [Schumer],” chief of staff Mark Meadows said in a video shared on YouTube. “I said, ‘What does the $2.2 trillion represent?’ You know what her response was? ‘I am not going to tell you, let me fill in the blanks’—that is not a proper negotiation nor is it anything that the American people accept.”
