A CNN medical expert expressed concern about the potential spread of the CCP Virus at the White House during President Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention, but at the same time praised the hundreds of thousands of people who demonstrated in a march on Washington.

Mainstream media again lambasted President Trump for choosing to give his speech at the White House in front of an audience of approximately 1,500 people who were barely maintaining social distance and not all were wearing face masks.

Dr. Rob Davidson said, “I was very concerned about the White House event last night, 1,500 people packed shoulder-to-shoulder, the head of the coronavirus task force [Vice President Mike Pence] in attendance without a mask with his family, his elderly mother without a mask. And it’s concerning,” Davidson told CNN anchor Anderson Cooper. “We know that people weren’t tested, only people in direct contact with President Trump had testing done. So I think we’re going to see cases out of that and it’s modeling bad behavior.”

However, the same Davidson who, by the way, was the Democratic Party’s candidate for Congress in 2018, something that curiously was not revealed by CNN, took a completely opposite position when he referred to the 57th anniversary march of Martin Luther King Jr.’s memorable “I Have a Dream” speech, which was attended by an estimated 50,000 people in Washington as well.

“Now when we juxtapose that to what’s happening in Washington D.C. right now, people are mostly wearing masks,” Davidson continued. “Now true, there’s social distancing issues. However, this is a public health crisis they are marching against. Systemic racism has taken so many lives in this country throughout our history. If you’re born black in this country in 2017, you have a three-and-a-half-year lower life expectancy than if you were born white. If you’re a young black man, you have a 1/1000 chance of being shot by police, three times more than if you were born white.”

The panelist added that while the risk-benefit of the protest had to be evaluated, “those folks are doing something very important today.”

Mainstream media, such as CNN, has repeatedly accused the Trump administration for its events with people during the pandemic, calling them “super spreaders.” NBC News published an article on June 24 titled Black Lives Matter protests haven’t led to COVID-19 [the CCP virus] spikes. It may be due to people staying home.”

Similarly, Democratic leaders have been adamant that people cannot attend mass, but have approved of mass protests, which many times descended into riots, that also do not follow guidelines for masking or social distancing.

Some conservative journalists slammed CNN for its bias reporting.
