The head” of the biggest bank in America appeared on television on Sunday, Nov. 10, and gave President Trump plenty of accolades and a boost for the next election.
JPMorgan Chase moves more money in a day than most countries earn in a year. In fact, according to its CEO, they “move $6 trillion of money every day.” What better person than to ask about the state of America’s economy?

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is in charge of over $2 trillion in assets and has around a quarter of a million employees scattered across the globe to manage. Presidents, prime ministers, sheiks, and royalty seek his.

Dimon was interviewed on “60 Minutes” on Sunday night by reporter Lesley Stahl, and he called the Trump economy “the most prosperous economy the world has ever seen.” reports BizPacReview.

Stahl mentioned the trade war between the United States and China, and how the president had imposed tariffs.

“I’ve been in China, and the Chinese will say he brought us to the table,” said Dimon.

His words didn’t escape the president, who took to Twitter on Monday to thank the billionaire businessman.

“The Chinese say (about Trump’s Trade War & Tariffs), ‘he brought us to the table.’ This is the most prosperous economy the world has ever seen, and it’s going to be a very prosperous economy.’ Jamie Dimon on @60Minutes Thank you, President Trump, & the Republican Party!” the president tweeted.

“This is the most prosperous economy the world has ever seen.”

When reporter Stahl asked Dimon what he could foresee, given there had been a few economic setbacks, his answer was not what she expected.

“The stock market is going through the roof, and yet manufacturing production is down over the past year. Wage growth is slowing,” Stahl said. “So when you look at the state of the economy right now, what do you see? Do you see strength? Do you see petering out?”

Dimon is optimistic about the future economy.

“The consumer, which is 70 percent of the U.S. economy, is quite strong. Confidence is very high,” Dimon replied. “Their balance sheets are in great shape. And you see that the strength of the American consumer is driving the American economy and the global economy.”

“This is the most prosperous economy the world has ever seen, and it’s going to be a very prosperous economy for the next 100 years,” Dimon said.
