Catherine Herridge, CBS News correspondent and senior investigator, published a series of posts on Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on former FBI Director James Comey, who claimed in recent days that the investigation did not condemn him.

Herridge examined the Inspector General’s report to show that, contrary to Comey’s claim that the “mistakes” in the report were made by good people trying to protect America, it actually proves their guilt.

According to BizPac Review, last year Comey gave testimony before the House Judiciary Committee expressing complete confidence in the agents who have been exposed in the FISA report, yet last week he admitted he was wrong while still maintaining that the errors and omissions revealed by the report were “just sloppiness.”

In response to Herridge’s posts, some Twitter users said that Comey apparently thought no one would read Horowitz’s report, suggesting that he probably hadn’t read it himself.
