During an interview on “Fox & Friends” Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) warned of the consequences for the United States if the Democrats win the seats at stake in the Georgia Senate.
As Scott detailed to host Steve Doocey, if the Democrats could win both seats and take control of the U.S. Senate, it would allow that party to take even more control of the lives of Americans.
“Bernie Sanders is right,” Scott said. “If they could win in Georgia then his idea of socialism—the Democrats’ idea to pack the Supreme Court and infringe on our First and Second Amendment rights, ruin Medicare, ruin private health care insurance—have all health care insurance run by the government,” he said. “The Green New Deal, which is, what, $100 trillion, according to Breitbart News.
“All these things socialism. I don’t believe that’s going to happen. I don’t believe that’s where Georgia is, including where Georgia or Florida or the country is,” Scott said, adding, “Bernie’s right, and I’m glad he’s honest about it.”
“I think it’s real simple: Democrats want to control your life,” said Scott, then he referred to Sen. Kamala Harris’s comments in her speech that all people have the same things in life.
“She wants everybody to have the exact same outcome. That means you have no opportunity. This is things what Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez would say,” Scott added.
Scott recently said that Georgia’s Democratic nominee for the Senate, John Osoff, who is running against Republican candidate David Perdue, is bought and paid for by the Chinese Communist Party.
According to the Florida Politics website, Scott critiqued Democratic nominee Rev. Raphel Warnock in his challenge of Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) during a debate last night.
The reverend from Atlanta is “a radical’s radical and won’t fight for the people of Georgia. (…) We need to make sure [Loeffler] wins this race and protects Georgians from Warnock’s dangerous agenda.”
According to a Dec. 6 Fox News program, President Trump warned Georgia voters that if they don’t back the Republican Senate hopefuls, “the socialists and communists win.”
“Very simply, you will decide whether your children will grow up in a socialist country or free country. Socialism is just the beginning for these people. They want to go into a communistic form of government,” the president said of the Democratic candidates, the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
