A Republican from Wisconsin wants both sides of the aisle to comprehensively examine complaints of election irregularities.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) is convinced the Democratic Party participated in election fraud to win the presidency and wants the Congress to launch a full investigation into who should be the next president.
Johnson blamed the quick electoral process for preventing authorities and elected officials from performing a comprehensive audit into whether Joe Biden really won the election.
“In the time we had it was impossible to fully identify and examine every allegation but many of these irregularities raise legitimate concerns and they do need to be taken seriously,” he said in a video shared by C-SPAN. “There was fraud in this election, I do not have any doubt about that, there was fraud—we just do not know the extent and we do not know what the remedy would be to identify.”
The senator believes the majority of complaints against the electoral system can be summarized by three “basic” categories.
“Number one: Lax enforcement or violations of elected election laws and controls. Two allegations of fraudulent votes and ballot stuffing. And three, corruption of voting machines and software that might be programmed to add or switch votes,” he said.
Johnson believes there is reasonable doubt to support President Trump’s recent concerns about the accuracy of Dominion voting machine data. He also believes hard copies may not have been used at all polling stations.
“I acknowledge that yes, the paper backup is the control if it is used,” he said. “Just speak to the computer aspects of this, the connection to the internet and the possibility of these machines are connected to the internet … people [have also] attempted to change the controls or the program in these computers inside the certification process.”
The Oval Office fully supported Johnson’s request for a thorough investigation of election irregularities.
“Senate hearings going on LIVE @OANN, as to the fraudulent 2020 election that just took place,” the president said on Twitter. “@SenRonJohnson doing an excellent job. Nevada must be flipped based on testimony!”
The president recalled Barack Obama previously won a second term even though his vote tally dropped by millions of votes. However, President Trump allegedly lost the November election despite his vote tally dramatically increasing.
“Perhaps the biggest difference between 2016 and 2020 is @FoxNews, despite the fact that I went from 63,000,000 votes to 75,000,000 votes, a record 12,000,000 vote increase,” the incumbent said on Twitter. “Obama went down 3,000,000 votes and won. Rigged election!!!”
