Georgia’s top election official ignored presidential concerns about the integrity of the election system, and disobeyed a direct order to overturn the result.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) will not help President Donald Trump win the Georgia leg of the November election, despite his party leader’s last-minute request to reverse the outcome.

“We have to stand by our numbers, we believe our numbers are right,” Raffensperger said according to a phone call recording leaked to The Washington Post.

However, the president believes the secretary of state knows the GOP originally won the Georgia election but this allegedly changed after ballots were destroyed and Dominion voting machine parts replaced.

“They are shredding ballots in my opinion, based on what I have heard, and they are removing machinery, and moving it as fast as they can—both of which are criminal fines and you cannot let it happen and you are letting it happen,” the president said.

The president directed Raffensperger to help give him another four years in the Oval Office by finding more votes and countering the alleged election fraud.

“Look, all I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state,” he said. “A lot of people think it was not a mistake, it was much more criminal than that but it is a big problem in Georgia. It is not a problem that is going away.”

Secretary of State Office general counsel Ryan Germany confirmed the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has investigated these concerns but failed to find conclusive evidence of election fraud.

“We are going to do every one of those things that you mentioned [but] what we are seeing is not at all what you are describing,” Germany said. “These are investigators from our office and investigators from GBI and they are looking and they are good—that is not what they are seeing.”

Raffensperger completely dismissed the president’s claims as false.

“Well, Mr. President the challenge that you have is the data you have is wrong,” he said.

After the phone call the president expressed disappointment with the Georgia secretary of state’s lack of motivation to help the GOP hold onto the presidency.

“I spoke to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger yesterday about Fulton County and voter fraud in Georgia,” the president said on Twitter. “He was unwilling, or unable, to answer questions such as the ‘ballots under table’ scam, ballot destruction, out of state ‘voters,’ dead voters, and more—he has no clue!”

President Trump was also unimpressed by the lackluster response from GOP Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan.

“Republicans in Georgia must be careful of the political corruption in Fulton County, which is rampant,” he said on Twitter. “The Governor, @BrianKempGA, and his puppet Lt. Governor, @GeoffDuncanGA, have done less than nothing. They are a disgrace to the great people of Georgia!”
