A clinician allegedly misled the public about his professional opinion of the Trump administration’s quick response to the deadly disease.

The Trump 2020 campaign has rejected Dr. Anthony Fauci’s claim that he did not commend President Donald Trump about his “impressive” and “strong” steps to help contain the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus.

“Dr. Fauci has made it clear that the Trump administration acted early and quickly,” Campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh said in a statement.

Murtaugh recalled a March 10 statement from Fauci that the Trump administration was “doing really well” with managing the pandemic. Three weeks later Fauci described the timing of health prevention measures as “very, very, early.”

Murtaugh also revealed the doctor stated the Oval Office did “everything possible” to minimize the number of Americans infected and who die from the pandemic.

“Dr. Fauci has repeatedly said the Trump Administration did everything possible to save lives,” he said on Twitter.

The remarks came after the doctor complained about his assessment appearing in political advertising for the upcoming election on Nov. 3. He became upset after learning his positive feedback was featured in the 30-second commercial.

“In my nearly five decades of public service, I have never publicly endorsed any political candidate,” he said in a statement according to Reuters. “The comments attributed to me without my permission in the GOP campaign ad were taken out of context from a broad statement I made months ago about the efforts of federal public health officials.”

However, the president begs to differ and believes there is nothing wrong with replaying old public service announcements.

“They are indeed Dr. Fauci’s own words,” he said on Twitter. “We have done a ‘phenomenal’ job, according to certain governors. Many people agree … and now come the vaccines and cures, long ahead of projections.”

Murtaugh believes Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden should stop criticizing the nation’s response to the CCP Virus, and simply follow Fauci’s own advice that the White House Coronavirus Task Force did an “impressive” job in containing the pandemic.

“Joe Biden claims he would listen to Dr. Anthony Fauci, if that is true, why does he contradict him so much?” he said in a statement. “Biden’s criticisms of President Trump’s response to the coronavirus are directly contradicted by statements from Dr. Fauci. They cannot both be telling the truth.”
