Rudy Giuliani, the attorney for the president of the United States, held a press conference on Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Philadelphia where he accused the Democrats of having manipulated the elections with the mail-in ballots and announced the legal measures that the administration is taking.

At the end of the most important U.S. Election Day in recent decades, the results favored President Trump notably in the key states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, plus the already declared victory in Florida, Texas, and several other states, the president’s re-election was on track.

However, the count stopped at midnight, the numbers seemed static and suddenly in the early morning, Joe Biden received about 300,000 mail-in ballots (this is what is currently known and the number could potentially be higher) between Wisconsin and Michigan, leaving the Democrat as the winner.

The situation raised suspicions because in a tight election, to suddenly have such a large number of mail-in ballots for a single candidate does not follow any logic. In addition, reports that Republican poll watchers were being intimidated or not allowed near the polls prompted President Trump’s quick reaction as he announced on Twitter that he would take the cases to the Supreme Court.

“This is among one of the most anti-democratic things I’ve ever seen or encountered. And it’s not just here in Philadelphia, this is going on all over the country,” said Giuliani, explaining that the mail-in ballots that suddenly appeared in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Nov. 4, were not observed by any Republican and the law requires that both parties have access to verify and count these ballots, precisely to avoid fraud.

You make certain it’s properly signed on the outside. There’s a signature, You make sure that it’s properly postmarked. You make sure it’s properly addressed, and then you pass on it. A number of these are often challenged by the Democrat representative or their Republican representative. We haven’t got a chance to look at a single one of them,” Giuliani said.

Giuliani stated that the administration has filed lawsuits in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Philadelphia and announced the possibility of filing a national lawsuit for the added mail-in ballots without the supervision of a Republican representative.

“This is a concerted effort of the crooks to run the Democratic Party,” Giuliani said, “20 years, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years, a hundred years of one party rule leads to corruption of all kinds. Voter fraud is one of the biggest, because that’s how you keep your power, but we’re not going to let them get away with it,” he added.

Giuliani said the Trump administration will defend the people’s decision and differentiate itself from political powers that only have partisan goals without considering the welfare of the people.

“This election is decided by the people, these people, the elite, they don’t care about the people. The people are the deplorables, the chumps, they’re not important. To President Trump, this is the whole reason that he ran for office,” Giuliani said, adding, “And is the whole reason for which he’s carrying on this campaign, so that your vote can mean something.”
