The U.S. government’s federal executive department responsible for law enforcement and justice strongly criticized several media outlets for spreading misinformation.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) completely rejected mainstream news that misreported recent Associated Press coverage, which quoted Attorney General William Barr saying he had not seen conclusive evidence of voting fraud at the November election.
DOJ accused print, broadcast, and online publishers of prematurely concluding that a federal investigation had already ended into whether the Democratic Party resorted to election fraud to win the presidency.
“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election,” a DOJ representative said in a statement shared on Twitter.
The department rejected any notion that the investigation had ended. Inquiries have only just begun.
“That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the attorney general stated,” the DOJ said. “The department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”
The remarks came shortly after former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) and Trump campaign Senior Legal Adviser Jenna Ellis clarified the DOJ did not immediately uncover a “smoking gun.” However, federal investigators could still find conclusive proof while examining countless complaints of election irregularities.
“With all due respect to the attorney general, there has not been any semblance of a DOJ investigation,” Giuliani and Ellis said in a statement. “His opinion appears to be without any knowledge or investigation of the substantial irregularities and evidence of systemic fraud.”
The pair revealed there is already “ample evidence” to suggest some form of illegal voting took place in at least six states. These allegations are still being investigated.
“We have many witnesses swearing, under oath, they saw crimes being committed in connection with voter fraud,” they said. “As far as we know, not a single one has been interviewed by the DOJ. The Justice Department also has not audited any voting machines or used their subpoena powers to determine the truth.”
One of those witnesses is Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai. He believes President Trump’s concerns about election fraud are valid and even presented a chart showing that pro-Trump votes were digitally altered to support Joe Biden.
“[I have] just testified in AZ hearing on #ElectionFraud. Presented implausibility of official result,” he said on Twitter. “Showed 30% of @realDonaldTrump votes electronically siphoned to @JoeBiden. The REAL CRIME is ‘Weighted Race’ algorithms certified by Sec.’s of State. We DON’T have ‘One Person, One Vote!'”
