A Californian Democrat, who is running to be America’s second most powerful political leader, plans to significantly drain federal taxpayer funds until the deadly Asian pandemic passes.

Vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) is proceeding with her Monthly Economic Crisis Support Bill. If passed, the federal government would give away $2,000 a month to each household member until the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus has passed.

The proposed legislation, which Harris introduced in the U.S. Senate on May 20, effectively orders the Department of Health and Human Services to backdate payments to March and indefinitely pay the amount to U.S. residents. For eligible recipients, this would amount to at least $12,000 in back payments.

“This bill provides for a monthly rebate to individuals and their dependents for the period beginning March 2020, and ending on the third month after the date on which the Department of Health and Human Services determines that the COVID-19 (Chinese Communist Party Virus) public health emergency has ended,” the bill said. “The rebate is $2,000 per individual ($4,000 for individuals filing a joint tax return) plus $2,000 for each dependent of such individual, not exceeding three dependents.”

Any head of the household who makes more than $150,000 annually, or other individuals who earn more than $100,000 a year, would receive a reduced payment. Payments would also be limited to three dependents per family. The payment would not be available to aliens who do not live in the United States.

“The rebate is reduced for individuals whose adjusted gross income exceeds specified levels,” the bill said. “Rebates are not subject to garnishment or set-offs by financial institutions.”

However, even if the legislation was approved in the Democrat-controlled House, it is unlikely to make it through the Republican-led Senate.

“Part of what has been a stumbling block to the passage of new coronavirus [CCP Virus] relief is the fact that Democrats control the House of Representatives, while Republicans control both the White House and Senate,” BGR reporter Andy Meek said. “Likewise, there is even a bit of a rift among Republicans when it comes to what an additional coronavirus [CCP Virus] stimulus-response should look like. Some think enough has been done, while others want to open the money spigot back up.”

The publication suggested the bill could be intended to serve as a financial incentive for registered voters to support the Democratic Party at the 2020 general election on Nov. 3.

“Depending on how the pieces on the political game board are rearranged this fall, depending on a Biden-Harris win, we could be in for a massive new round of coronavirus (CCP Virus) stimulus in just a few months’ time,” Meek said.
