A Democrat who wants to be the next president and his family members cannot be trusted to act in America’s best interest due to their close ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a former business partner revealed.
Tony Bobulinski has serious doubt about the integrity of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his family.
“I think Joe Biden and the Biden family are compromised,” he told Fox News’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”
Based on his experiences serving as a business partner of Hunter Biden and witnessing his immediate family members’ questionable behavior, Bobulinski believes a Biden administration could easily become a national security risk.
“I just don’t see, given the history and the facts, how Joe can’t be influenced in some manner based on the history they have with CEFC [China Energy Co.],” he said. “As a citizen and an American taxpayer, I am very, very concerned.”
He revealed he first met with Joe Biden in Los Angeles during 2017, at the request of Hunter and his uncle, Jim Biden, to discuss family affairs formally.
“They were sort of wining and dining me and presenting the strength of the Biden family to get me more engaged and to want to take on the CEO role [of the joint business venture between the Chinese energy firm CEFC China Energy Co. and Oneida Holdings, a Delaware-based LLC],” he said.
After speaking with them, it became “crystal clear” that Hunter had already briefed his father on the progress of a joint venture deal even before the meeting happened.
“They were putting their entire family legacy on the line. They knew exactly what they were doing,” Bobulinski said.
They openly admitted they were closely affiliated with CEFC China Energy Co.
“They were dealing with a Chinese owned enterprise … that had strong financial support and political support from the Chinese Communist Party—that is how it was presented to me,” Bobulinski said. “That is not my own words. That is how they presented it to me and read me in on it.”
When it became clear that Joe Biden was running for the Oval Office at the upcoming election, Bobulinski expressed concern about their links to the CCP and suggested they tread carefully. However, the Democrat laughed and said he had already thought of it.
“I remember looking at Jim Biden and saying, ‘How are you guys getting away with this? Like, aren’t you concerned?'” Bobulinski said. “He certainly looked at me, and he laughed a little bit and said, ‘plausible deniability.'”
When he tried to convince Biden to come clean about his business dealings, he was disappointed to find the Democrat was not at all interested in putting the record straight.
“[They began] trying to coach me, trying to sort of say, ‘We do not want to do that—we do not want press trucks in front of our house, I am going to have to move, I could lose my job and all that'” Bobulinski said. “I was pushing these guys to do the right thing to demonstrate an ounce of integrity in front of the American people.”
Former Clinton administration official Rob Walker appeared to suggest any leak about the Biden family’s business activities could deliver a fatal blow to the 2020 Biden campaign.
“Tony, you are just going to bury all of us, man,” he said, according to a voice message obtained by Carlson.
