A Democratic Party frontrunner for the Oval Office vowed to increase compulsory contributions to government, if he wins the next election.

Joe Biden has supported two voter referendums that asked for more federal funding for two school districts in Wisconsin. The Democratic presidential candidate revealed the $1 billion promised for Milwaukee and $87 million pledged for Racine would be paid through tax hikes, despite the nation being in the middle of  an economic shutdown due to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus pandemic.

“Only Joe Biden could look at the coronavirus crisis and say, ‘You know what this situation needs? A tax increase,'” Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement.

The funds would be used to pay for renovating and building new facilities in the Racine school district as well as staff, programming, and other operational expenses across Milwaukee.

However, Parscale warned any new tax would only create a further financial burden on struggling businesses, many of which have laid off employees, and families that have joined the ever growing line outside of the Department of Labor.

“His plans for the Green New Deal, a government takeover of health care, and repeal the Trump tax cuts would choke our economy at the worst possible time,” he said.

In March the department announced the national unemployment rate rose 0.9 percent to 4.4 percent due to the CCP Virus’s impact on a variety of sectors including leisure, hospitality, retail, construction, professional, and business services.

“The changes in these measures reflect the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and efforts to contain it,” the department said in a statement.

At the time of publication more than 336,600 Americans were infected by the CCP Virus and over 9,600 had died according to the Worldometer website.

Incumbent President Donald Trump criticized Biden for indirectly making life even harder for Wisconsinites and warned the Democrat would lift the cost of living for all Americans.

“He wants to raise taxes all over our country,” the president said on Facebook.

Parscale promised once the CCP Virus had passed, the president would rebuild the economy to unprecedented wealth if he is re-elected at the general election on Nov. 3.

“President Trump’s policies built the economy up to historic heights and he is the only one equipped to take us back there again,” he said. “President Trump is leading the nation, doing everything he can to protect citizens’ health and safeguard the economy, while Joe Biden cannot help but talk about raising taxes.”
