A high number of U.S. jobs were lost to other countries because the Democrat running for president wants everything to be made in China, the White House said.

Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy Peter Navarro estimates more than 5 million American jobs disappeared after Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden encouraged more U.S. businesses to trade with the CCP (Chinese Communist Party).

“[House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi in the rotunda said that Joe Biden was the preferred candidate of the Chinese Communist Party and the Global Times comes out effectively with their endorsement,” Navarro told Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”  “We know that would mean devastation in the Midwest, blue-collar workers getting hammered. We lost over 70,000 factories, over 5 million manufacturing jobs, and it was because Joe Biden likes made in China.”

Navarro believes national security cannot be ignored when doing business with the CCP, especially when it tries to influence Congress through economic blackmail.

“That is one of the principles of the Trump administration and what we learned from this China virus pandemic is that if we have to bring our medicines home, our medical supplies, and our medical equipment,” he said. “The Chinese Communist Party is putting an exclamation point to that when they threaten us. If we bring those jobs back onshore as we have been doing, we will create great jobs at great wages but also protect the American people from the Chinese Communist Party, so that is a very provocative action that we are taking—we are no stranger to seeing that.”

If President Donald Trump wins another four years in the Oval Office, his administration will continue implementing policies that make enterprises want to hire Americans instead of outsourcing to Mainland China and other parts of the world.

“What President Trump has been carefully doing is putting in place a wide range of policies, whether it is lowering corporate income tax to bring investment on-shore, steel and aluminum tariffs, or buy American,” Navarro said. “Speaking of those medicines that China wants to bully us with, the president signed an executive order that will essentially enforce buy American rules and promote advance manufacturing and pharmaceuticals right here in the good old U.S. of A.”

He believes voters will make an important decision at the upcoming election on Nov. 3.

“Beijing Biden versus Made in America Donald J. Trump,” he said. “I think that is one of the stark differences between the two sides.”
