Former Vice President Joe Biden, is facing a wave of criticism after he downplayed the multiple attacks on President Trump’s supporters by radical leftist groups such as antifa and Black Lives Matter during the MAGA march in Washington.
Various public officials have questioned the indifference of the supposed elected president by the media, Joe Biden, who ignored the violent events that some of the attendees of the event in Washington experienced in favor of Trump and in support of a fair election.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) published a video on Twitter in which militants from leftist groups were seen harassing people with fireworks who were dining in a Washington restaurant.
“When is Joe Biden, Mr. Unity, going to condemn this violence,” writes Sen. Hawley in the message on his Twitter account.
A sarcastic comment from political commentator Dana Loesch on the social network, questioned Biden’s lack of response to the violent episodes experienced by President Trump’s supporters.
“I’m sure Biden will denounce this when all the press ask him about it,” Loesch wrote.
Loesch later added another sarcastic comment, noting, “I am sure the legacy press will rush to cover this, since many have bureaus nearby, and then immediately ask Biden and Harris to come forward. Let’s look for all their stellar reporting.”
In another commentary, attorney Danny Tarkanian, wrote about the attacks, “Imagine what they would have done if the initial election results had gone to Trump. This is what the crazy left has embraced. This is the group that Biden would not condemn. And this is the group that MSM is silent about.”
Meanwhile, conservative political strategist Doug Stafford wrote, “I want to hear @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris condemn antifa/BLM criminals who assaulted and harassed peaceful demonstrators in DC today, including elderly and families.”
Mainstream media that has not bothered to show its support for Biden by conceding the election victory over the polling station decision has also ignored the violent attacks on Trump supporters.
Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.) posted on his Twitter account, “The President’s supporters have a right to peacefully rally supporting POTUS just like his opponents have that same right.”
“The physical assaults today by violent leftists targeting his supporters is abhorrent,” Zeldin added.
White House senior adviser and daughter of President Trump, Ivanka, wrote on her Twitter account, “The media’s near total silence about the physical violence being perpetrated against conservatives is shameful & dangerous.”
“Just image the outrage and indignation if this went the other way. Violence is never the answer and instigators must be condemned and prosecuted.” Ivanka added.
Kelley Paul, wife of Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) meanwhile, mentioned the events that occurred on Saturday, recalling an episode of harassment and pressure she experienced with her husband after they were besieged by Black Lives Matter protesters after leaving the Republican National Convention at the White House.
“Watching the video of people being assaulted and harassed by BLM/Antifa in DC tonight brings back awful memories,” Kelley Paul posted in a tweet.
“Want an example of media bias?” wrote Kelley. “When @RandPaul and I spoke out about our mob assault, the @AP reported our claim was ‘without evidence’ despite 10 minutes of video.”
