A Democrat from New York was widely questioned for imitating Joe Biden on March 18.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) thought it was a good idea to record a video of herself whispering like the president.

“Let me tell you a secret: most people do not really know what capitalism is; most people do not even know what socialism is but most people are not capitalists because they do not have capitalist money–they are not billionaires,” she said in a video that went viral on Twitter.

Former GOP U.S. candidate for Florida Lavern Spicer made fun of Ocasio-Cortez’s video by sharing some classified information of her own.

“Pssst, I will tell you a secret: AOC is an embarrassment to Congress and to women everywhere,” she said on Twitter.

Lebanese-Canadian author Gad Saad became very concerned about the future of America after hearing the congresswoman’s remarks.

“[AOC is] one of the most powerful women, good luck U.S.A.–you had a good run,” he said on Twitter.

The Democrat defended her remarks, saying it is more important to speak about policies than whatever labels social media users give her.

“The label doesn’t matter as much as talking about policies. That’s easier to understand,” she said later in the video.

“Do you think people should die because they can’t afford insulin?; do you think that fossil fuel CEOs should decide whether the planet gets set on fire? Me neither,” she added.
