Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who testified against President Trump during impeachment inquiry, will be reportedly rotated out from National Security Council (NSC).

When National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien appeared on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Nov. 10, he talked about the major reduction in personnel at NSC, including Vindman.

Robert O’Brien, who was appointed in September of this year to replace John Bolton, said Vindman is scheduled to be pulled out of his post at NSC and sent back to the Department of Defense as O’Brien reduces the agency from 236 to about 100 people.

Vindman, a lieutenant colonel who served in Iraq and, later, as a diplomat, told House investigators on Oct. 29 that he listened to President Donald Trump’s July 25 call with new Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and reported his concerns to the NSC’s lead counsel, according to his prepared testimony.

O’Brien asserted in the interview that everyone at the NSC (National Security Council) will be rotated back to their respective departments and he will be bringing in new people.

Here’s what O’Brien said on CBS:

Well- well look, one of the things that I’ve talked about is that we’re streamlining the National Security Council. It got bloated to like two hundred and thirty six people from- up from 100 in the Bush administration under President Obama. We’re streamlining the National Security Council. There are people that are detailed from different departments and agencies. My understanding is he’s — is that Colonel Vindman is — is detailed from the Department of Defense. So everyone who’s detailed at the NSC, people are going to start going back to their own departments and we’ll bring in new folks. But we’re going to get that number down to around 100 people. That’s what it was under Condoleezza Rice. She came and met with me. I met with a number of my successors.

Alexander Vindman is considered one of Adam Schiff’s star witnesses and a left-wing hack. The National Security Council was reportedly of many Obama holdovers who ultimately damaged the Trump Administration with illegal leaks to the media.

House Democrats and Adam Schiff are proceeding the investigation into the July phone call of President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in which they discussed the probe for Hunter Biden and a Ukrainian company where he served on the board.

After Vindman’s testimony, President Trump slammed him in a series of tweets where he stressed that it’s impossible that the Army lieutenant colonel has any idea of what he was talking about on the phone call since he wasn’t on the call, and stressed that he wouldn’t say anything inappropriate before people.

“Why are people that I never even heard of testifying about the call?” President Trump tweeted. “Just READ THE CALL TRANSCRIPT AND THE IMPEACHMENT HOAX IS OVER!”

“Supposedly, according to the Corrupt Media, the Ukraine call ‘concerned’ today’s Never Trumper witness. Was he on the same call that I was? Can’t be possible! Please ask him to read the Transcript of the call, Witch Hunt!” the president continued.

“How many more Never Trumpers will be allowed to testify about a perfectly appropriate phone call when all anyone has to do is READ THE TRANSCRIPTS! I knew people were listening in on the call (why would I say something inappropriate?), which was fine with me, but why so many?” the president lamented.

Presidents Trump and Zelensky have stated that no pressure was applied to Ukraine to investigate the Biden family.
