President Trump convened a peaceful rally in Washington, D.C. After some incidents, Twitter and Facebook arbitrarily suspended their accounts for an indefinite period.

The technology giants used the Capitol demonstration on Jan. 6 as an excuse to apply maximum censorship to all users who do not conform to their leftist narratives and continue to violate freedom of expression.

President Trump disapproved of some protesters’ incursion into the Capitol and the interruption of the congressional session in which the certification of electoral votes was carried out, from his Twitter account.

“Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!” Trump wrote.

After another tweet in the same vein and another with a video in which Trump addressed his followers, calling them to calm down, Twitter deleted the video and suspended the account for 12 hours, according to The Western Journal of Jan. 7.

“I know your pain. I know your hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election, and everyone knows it,” the president said in the video.

He added, “You have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don’t want anybody hurt. This was a fraudulent election, but we cannot play into the hands of these people. So go home. We love you.”

The suspension of Twitter was joined by Facebook and Instagram, citing possible risks in Trump’s messages, after enriching themselves with them for years.

This arbitrariness may enable these large networks to apply their criteria even more indiscriminately and at will, with no respect for users, says Zerohedge.

Snapchat and YouTube joined the censorship, and the latter platform announced that it would eliminate all videos referring to the widespread electoral fraud, according to a tweet from journalist Tim Pool.

“Youtube has just announced that due to the events of yesterday at the Capitol, they are moving up the timeline on “election-related misinformation” removals from the 20th to today,” wrote Pool.

He added: “Videos claiming widespread fraud or error altered the election will receive a strike and be removed.”

The technology giants invested many millions of dollars in Democratic campaigns to ensure that Trump would not be re-elected and would not continue to defend American freedom of speech.

They also censored all information that exposed corruption in the family of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, which was widely reported by the New York Post on Oct. 15.

They also share and promote the leftist agenda that the Democrats, allied with the Marxist groups’ Black Lives Matter and Antifa, plan to impose under the approving gaze of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
