As the House moves toward voting on a resolution to condemn House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) for fabricating a conversation between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, 23 House Republicans have yet to back the bill.

A vote on the motion proposed by House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), known as H. Res. 604, is expected to be held on Monday night, Oct. 21.

Republicans across the political spectrum have voiced their support to sponsor the Biggs’s bill and fight the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry against President Trump that they deem illegitimate.

Breitbart News provided a list of the Republicans that have yet to back the resolution to condemn Schiff. However, it does not necessarily mean that they will vote against the bill.

  1. Martha Roby (R-Ala.)
  2. Ken Buck (R-Colo.)
  3.  Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.)
  4. Francis Rooney (R-Fla.)
  5. Rob Woodall (R-Ga.)
  6. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.)
  7. Jackie Walorski (R-Ill.)

  9. Hal Rogers (R-Ill.)
  10. Fred Upton (R-Mich.)

Demonstrating his support for the resolution, President Trump last week called on House Republicans and “honest House Democrats” to vote for the bill.

“Hope all House Republicans, and honest House Democrats will vote to CENSURE Rep. Adam Schiff tomorrow for his brazen and unlawful act of fabricating (making up) a totally phony conversation with the Ukraine President and U.S. President, me. Most have never seen such a thing!” he wrote in a tweet.

Late on  Sunday night, President Trump doubled down on the issue, calling Schiff  a “Corrupt Politician.”

Schiff, who is leading the impeachment inquiry, has been accused of reading a fictional phone call for the record. Not only that, he allegedly lied about having not been in contact with the CIA whistleblower, who alleged President Trump abused his power of office to interfere in the 2020 election.

After news reports broke that Schiff’s staff had secretly worked with the whistleblower before the complaint was filed, Schiff had been conducting closed-doors testimonies in order to prevent Republican lawmakers from questioning the whistleblower.
